Create a Ticket

New Tickets

Select the New Ticket button on the Ticketing List screen to create a new ticket.

Incidents the available fields include:

  • Customer
  • Requested By: the end user initiating ticket
  • Short Description
  • Description
  • Project
  • Assignment Group

Service Requests available fields include:

  • Customer
  • Requested By: the end user initiating ticket
    • Requested For: allows someone to submit a ticket on behalf of another end user, only required if selected.
  • Project
    • Service Request Catalog Item: select from a library of request templates. If a template is selected the remaining fields will be pre-populated.
  • Short Description
  • Description
  • Assignment Group

For Problems the required fields include:

  • Select Problem
  • Customer
  • Short Description
  • Project
  • Assignment Group

Once you select the Create Ticket button, you are directed to the Ticket details screen to further manage this ticket.
